Our department provides healthcare 7/24 to 0-18 aged children. There is waiting area, blood sampling room, triage room, examination room where four patient can get examined simultaneously, observation-trauma room with 4 beds, resuscitation room, decontamination room and another observation room with 14 beds in our pediatric emergency department (PED).
Our department has an ultrasound (US) device, 2 mechanical ventilation devices, 1 non-invasive ventilation (NIV) device, electroencephalogram (EEG), 5 high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC), 4 device for direct laryngocopy and a videolaryngosvope. Also there is a central station monitor performed invasive and non-invasive measurement in our observation room with 14 beds.
Pediatric emergency physicians and pediatric residents successfully performed interventions that is important for the management of the critically ill patients.
